๐Ÿ›’ Ingredients (Serves 2)

Sticky Rice

  • 1 cup sticky rice (glutinous rice)
  • Water for soaking

Jeow Dipping Sauce

  • 1 tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 dried chilies (cut with scissors)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1 pinch sugar

Chicken Balls

  • 200 g ground chicken
  • a pinch of salt (optional)

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿณ Instructions

Sticky Rice

  1. Rinse the sticky rice well.
  2. Soak it in water for about 2โ€“4 hours.
  3. Prepare a pot with steaming water.
  4. Once steam starts rising, steam the rice for about 12 minutes.
  5. Turn off the heat and let it rest for 10 minutes.

๐Ÿ’ก If you have a rice cooker, you can also cook the sticky rice using it.

Jeow Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix fish sauce, lime juice, cut dried chilies, garlic, and sugar.
  2. Stir well.

Chicken Balls

  1. Shape the ground chicken into small bite-size balls.
  2. Cook them in an air fryer at 180ยฐC for about 10 minutes.

๐Ÿ’ก You can also cook them in a frying pan.

To Serve

  1. Take a small piece of sticky rice.
  2. Dip it into the Jeow sauce.
  3. Eat it together with the chicken balls.
  4. Enjoy!
