So I used the leftover jerk sauce ๐ฏ๐ฒ
I wanted Macchou-shaped rice ๐ but there wasnโt enough riceโฆ so itโs just the upper body ๐

Jamaican Jerk Rice ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐๐ฅ | Leftover Jerk Chicken Rice in My Japanese Kitchen ๐ฏ๐ต๐
๐ Ingredients (Serves 2)
- 1 bowl cooked rice
- 2โ3 chicken tenderloins (whole)
- 1โ2 tbsp leftover jerk chicken sauce
- 1 small potato (diced)
- 1 green pepper (diced)
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Black pepper
Optional
- A little paprika powder
- A little chili powder
๐ฉโ๐ณ Instructions
- Dice the potato and green pepper into small cubes.
- Place the chicken tenderloins, potato, and green pepper in the air fryer.
- Drizzle a little olive oil and cook at 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) for about 10โ12 minutes.
- Heat a frying pan.
- Add the leftover jerk chicken sauce.
- Add the cooked rice and stir for about 2โ3 minutes.
- In another pan, cook a fried egg.
- Place the jerk rice on a plate.
- Add the chicken, potato, and green pepper on top.
- Finish with a fried egg and black pepper.
